Hap was my landlord from 1983-1988. I remember one time when a friend brought crawdads to my house to cook. We had a feast and then discarded the remains in the trash can which was housed next to Hap's own. They sat in the summer heat for most of a week when one day as I came home from work, Hap was out by the cans poking around. When he saw me he asked what was in there. I told him crawdads. He laughed and said he knew there was some kind of dead body in there! Thank you Hap and Carol for putting up with me.
